Locum Tenens Physician - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Needed in TX

Job Description

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation for a locum tenens opportunity in Texas. This 40-day assignment is scheduled to begin on Aug 3, 2026. The Physician will work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, at a 49-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Duties involve rounding and providing consults with inpatient teams and adult Hospitalist providers throughout the day.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm at a 49-bed inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital
• Provide inpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation services at a Rehabilitation Hospital
• Perform rounding and provide consults with inpatient team and adult Hospitalist providers throughout the day

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required
• The EMR system utilized is Epic
• Experience with trigger point and steroid injections is highly preferred
