Job Description

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant to join their team for a 36-day assignment, commencing Sep 25, 2026. This role involves working 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, primarily focusing on inpatient plastic and reconstructive surgery. You will be responsible for comprehensive patient care, including conducting H&Ps, ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic tests, managing medications, performing appropriate bedside procedures, and developing effective plans of care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive patient care within inpatient plastic and reconstructive surgery.
  • Conduct H&Ps, order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests.
  • Order medications and write prescriptions.
  • Perform bedside procedures as appropriate.
  • Manage and assess therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop and continuously evaluate appropriate plans of care.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Plastic Surgery
  • EMR: Epic
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inpatient plastic and reconstructive surgery is required; outpatient experience will not be considered.
