Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day assignment with our client in Arizona, starting Sep 14, 2026. This role involves psychiatric rounding on patients in a residential level of care, participation in treatment team meetings, comprehensive documentation, psychiatric evaluations, follow-up treatments, and medication management. The schedule is anticipated to be 7a-7a, ensuring consistent patient care and collaboration within a dynamic team setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform psychiatric rounding on patients in a residential level of care
• Participate in treatment team meetings
• Complete thorough documentation
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up treatments
• Manage patient medication
• Provide therapy sessions
• Round on patient caseload once per week; additional if clinically warranted
• Conduct one-hour (50 minute plus documentation) sessions per week
• Provide direct patient care for approximately 75% of worked time, managing a caseload of about 30 patients weekly
