We are seeking a dedicated Physician - Psychiatrist for a 59-day assignment in Washington, commencing Nov 30, 2026. This role involves a full-time equivalent schedule, typically 8:00am-5:00pm, with a dynamic blend of clinic, inpatient, occasional night call, and weekend coverage. You will be responsible for managing adult patients, including rounding, admissions, and discharges, across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct 5-7 inpatient shifts per month.
Manage 12-19 outpatient days per month.
Perform rounding and admissions, including discharges, for adult patients.
Work clinic days from 8:00am-5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break.
Handle inpatient duties from 8:00am-12:00pm, followed by clinic from 1:00pm-5:00pm on split days, with occasional earlier starts if court is required.
Provide occasional night call and weekend coverage approximately once a quarter; weekend inpatient telehealth may be performed remotely if residing in Washington.
Collaborate with existing staff, as a psych hospitalist and experienced Nurse Practitioner are available for support.
