Locum Tenens Physician - Psychologist Needed in MA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist for a 90-day assignment in Massachusetts, commencing Oct 31, 2026. This role involves comprehensive psychiatric assessments, psychological testing, and identifying behavioral patterns, with shifts from 8:30am-5pm. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide individual or group therapy as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Comprehensive Psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
• Conducts psychological testing to assist in the diagnostic process
• Research and identify behavioral or emotional patterns of patients
• Documentation utilizing the Hospital electronic medical records
• Initiate Treatment Team risk assessment and review
• Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team
• Collaborate with Department of Mental Health clinical team
• Collaborate with the Independent Forensic Review evaluators
• Collaborate with the unit’s attorney, court liaison staff, and the legal system
• Monitor the legal status of the patients and provide the treatment team with updates
• Provide individual and / or group therapy to patients as needed
• May be called upon to provide training to staff when needed.
