Job Description

We are seeking a Physician - Radiation Oncologist for a 100-day assignment in OH, starting Aug 24, 2026. This role involves 8-hour clinical days with no call, where the physician will manage 7-10 patients daily, including 7-12 follow-up and 12-15 active treatment encounters per shift. Key duties include performing advanced Radiation Oncology procedures such as Brachytherapy, various External Beam Therapy techniques, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS, alongside comprehensive treatment planning.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform Brachytherapy - Intracavitary (e.g., Mammosite).
  • Administer External Beam Therapy (EBRT) including Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, and Electrons.
  • Utilize advanced techniques such as Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS (all types).
  • Conduct Treatment Planning including Conventional, Beam Shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI), and Clinical Trials.
  • Manage 7-10 patients per day, adapting to new or follow-up, add-ons, and urgent visits.
  • Handle 7-12 follow-up and 12-15 active treatment patient encounters per shift.
  • Dedicate one day per week for OTV (On Treatment Visits).
  • Operate within an 8-hour clinical day schedule with no call responsibilities.
  • Utilize Epic and ARIA RO EMR systems for patient care documentation.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Radiation Oncology is required.
  • EMR systems utilized: EPIC (Hospital) and ARIA RO (Treatment).
  • Trauma Level 3 facility.
  • Facility PEDS Level 2.
  • Accreditations: ACR, ACoS, HFAP, NSABP (Breast Center), QOPI Certified (Medical Oncology).
  • The facility operates as completely paperless and filmless.
