Job Description

Our client in NC is seeking a Surgical Oncology Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment starting Nov 1, 2026. This role involves covering an inpatient floor census of 10-15 patients, seeing patients in clinic, and supporting three surgeons with primarily pre-operative and post-operative care, with shifts scheduled from 7a to 3p.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cover inpatient floor census of 10-15 patients.
• See patients in clinic.
• Provide primarily pre-operative and post-operative care, supporting three surgeons.

• EMR System: Epic
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
• Fellowship required
• Required certifications: BLS
