Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 91-day assignment starting Jul 6, 2026, in Washington. The successful candidate will work a 7 on, 7 off schedule from Tuesday to Monday, 10am-6pm, as the sole provider at the clinic. This role involves managing a fluctuating patient census, from less than 10 to over 30 daily, handling typical urgent care cases and performing a range of procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole practitioner at the clinic.
  • Manage a fluctuating patient census, averaging 20 patients daily, with volumes varying from less than 10 to over 30.
  • Work a consistent 7 on, 7 off schedule, operating from Tuesday through Monday, 10am-6pm.
  • Provide comprehensive care for typical urgent care cases.
  • Perform a range of procedures including sutures, IMDs, toe nail removal, laceration repair, injections, and foreign body removal.
  • Interpret x-rays as part of patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Care for both walk-in and scheduled patients in a single practitioner setting.
