Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Urgent Care Needed in Montana

Our client in Montana is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 75-day assignment. This role, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, involves providing comprehensive outpatient urgent and primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, mental health support, and in-office procedures, with a primary focus on walk-in and acute visits.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive outpatient services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, reproductive health services, mental health and substance use treatment, and in-office procedures.
• Focus on urgent care and walk-in visits, managing acute illnesses, minor injuries, and episodic care.
• Apply clinical experience in mental health, chronic pain, and chronic disease management.

• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: 20
• LOA: 75 Days
• Staffing Mix: May include MA and pharmacy support; nurse support may not always be available.
• Specific Requirement: To ensure culturally appropriate access to care, our client strongly prefers to review male candidates, as some patients will only seek care from a male provider.
