Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Urgent Care Needed in Montana

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for an exciting 70-day assignment in Montana. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient urgent care and family medicine services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, reproductive health, mental health, substance use treatment, and in-office procedures. The primary focus will be on walk-in and urgent care visits, acute illnesses, minor injuries, and episodic care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient services, including urgent care and family medicine.
• Manage preventive care, chronic disease, pediatric care, and reproductive health services.
• Provide mental health and substance use treatment.
• Perform in-office procedures.
• Focus on walk-in and urgent care visits, acute illnesses, minor injuries, and episodic care.
• Offer limited preventive services.
• Apply clinical experience in mental health, chronic pain, and chronic disease management.

• Board Certifications: Family Medicine; Urgent Care
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• EMR: RPMS
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
• Specific Requirements: Due to cultural considerations, the client strongly prefers to review male candidates to help ensure culturally appropriate access to care.
• LOA: 70 Days
• Staffing Mix: MA, pharmacy, with potential for no nurse support
