Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 90-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Oct 13, 2026. This role involves seeing and treating a high volume of urgent care patients, including adults and pediatrics (6 months+), as the sole provider in the center, and performing minor procedures. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a diverse patient population and efficient in using Epic EMR.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive urgent care to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up) as the sole provider in the center.
  • Perform minor procedures including lac repair and ear irrigation.
  • Manage a high volume of patients, averaging 45 per day, with potential for up to 60.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for all patient visits.
  • Demonstrate strong soft skills and provide excellent patient care.


Additional Information

  • EMR: Epic
  • Provider must have at least 12 months of experience; new graduates are not considered.
  • A Supervising Physician will be provided offsite for locum APPs.
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 20 days.
