Job Description

Our client in New Jersey is seeking a skilled Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 1-day assignment starting Jul 19, 2026. This role involves an 8am-7pm shift with patient care extending as needed to ensure all patients are seen, and includes managing urgent care and COVID cases, requiring proficiency in suturing and splinting within a potentially high-volume, sole-provider environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide urgent care services, including managing COVID cases.
• Perform suturing and splinting procedures.
• Serve as a sole provider, handling a high volume of 40-60 patients per day.
• Ensure all patients are seen before departure, as new patients may arrive until 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends.
• Treat patients of all ages.

Additional Information

• EMR systems used include AdvancedMD and Epic.
• Ability to manage a high-volume urgent care setting as a sole provider is required.
• Must be proficient in suturing and splinting.
