Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Urgent Care Needed in NJ

Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 4-day assignment in New Jersey, starting Oct 10, 2026. This role involves 8-hour shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, though patient flow may extend into the evening, requiring providers to see all patients before leaving. The Physician Assistant will handle urgent care and COVID cases, perform suturing and splinting, and ensure all charts are completed, signed, and diagnosed within working hours.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive urgent care, including the management of COVID cases.
• Perform essential procedures such as suturing and splinting.
• Manage patient flow effectively, ensuring all patients presenting before closing (8 PM on weekdays, 4 PM on weekends) are seen.
• Ensure all patient charts are accurately completed, signed, and include a diagnosis during working hours.
