Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Urgent Care Needed in New Jersey

Our client in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Urgent Care for a 1-day assignment. This role involves managing a high volume of urgent care cases, including COVID-19, with shifts typically running from 8 AM to 8 PM. The successful candidate will perform procedures such as suturing and splinting, ensuring all patient charts are completed and signed within working hours.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage urgent care cases, including COVID-19 patients.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.
• Ensure all patients presenting before closing time are seen before departure.
• Complete and sign all patient charts with appropriate diagnoses during working hours to avoid kickbacks.
