Locum Tenens Physician - Urgent Care Needed in NJ

Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician for a 2-day assignment with our client in New Jersey, beginning Aug 1, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care services, including managing COVID cases, performing suturing and splinting, and handling a high volume of patients during 11-12 hour shifts, ensuring all patients are seen before clinic closing.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive urgent care services, including treatment for COVID-19.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing and splinting.
• Manage high patient volumes, potentially seeing 40-60 patients per day as a sole provider.
• Ensure all patients presenting before closing times (8pm weekdays, 4pm weekends) are evaluated and treated prior to departure.
