Locum Tenens Physician - Urgent Care Needed in New Jersey

Our client in New Jersey is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a 5-day assignment starting Nov 26, 2023. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care services, including managing COVID cases and performing minor procedures, across specific dates including Dec 24, 2023, Dec 25, 2023, Dec 31, 2023, and Jan 1, 2024. Shifts are scheduled from 8 AM to 3 PM, requiring a dedicated professional to manage a high volume of patients in an outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive urgent care services, including COVID-related assessments and treatment.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing and splinting.
• Manage a high patient volume in an urgent care clinic.
• Ensure all patients are seen before clinic closing times.

• EMR: AdvancedMD, Epic
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• No Call required.
• Patient volume: 30-40 patients per day.
• LOA: 5 Days
• Staffing Mix: Sole provider
• Required to treat patients of all ages.
• Must be adept at handling high patient volumes as a sole provider.
