Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Surgery - Vascular Needed in OH

Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant - Surgery - Vascular for a 90-day assignment starting Sep 7, 2026, in Ohio. This role involves 10-hour day shifts, occasional evening call, and a 1:4 weekend call rotation, where you will first assist in 2-6 surgeries daily, round on 10-20 inpatients, and perform a variety of vascular procedures including vein harvesting, arteriovenous, aortagrams, and angiograms.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide first assistance in 2-6 vascular surgeries per day
• Conduct daily rounds on 10-20 inpatient vascular patients
• Perform procedures such as vein harvesting, arteriovenous, aortagrams, bypasses, angiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), T-Bars, B-Bars, TAAs, and Endovascular interventions
• Manage discharge orders and patient care, floating between the operating room and patient floors as needed
• Participate in weeknight call coverage rotation, including occasional evening call
• Rotate weekend call coverage from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Round with a vascular surgeon once on Saturday and once on Sunday mornings when on weekend call
