Locum Tenens Physician - Vascular Surgeon Needed in PA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Vascular Surgeon for a 90-day assignment in Pennsylvania. This role involves a standard 5-day schedule with 24-hour beeper call, where you will manage approximately 10-15 consults and perform 6-10 surgeries each week. The ideal Physician will contribute to a dynamic department focused on patient care and surgical excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage.
• Manage an average of 10-15 patient consults per week.
• Perform 6-10 surgical procedures per week.
• Respond to callbacks, averaging 6-8 hours per day.
• Work within a department featuring residents onsite, an OR Hybrid, APS, and angioplasty services.
• Care for patients in a trauma facility.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery is required.
• The facility utilizes Epic EMR.
• The call schedule includes 24-hour beeper call with an average of 6-8 hours of callback per day.
• Anticipate seeing 10-15 consults and performing 6-10 surgeries per week.
• Residents are onsite in the department.
