Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Women and Adolescent Health Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment starting Sep 21, 2026, in California. This role involves managing a diverse patient caseload with 5 eight-hour shifts, focusing on pregnancy consultations, birth control and insertions, vaginal health, and pre and post-partum care. Our client provides robust support, including translators and Spanish-speaking Medical Assistants, to assist with the predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive women and adolescent health services.
  • Conduct pregnancy consultations and provide related care.
  • Manage birth control options and insertions.
  • Address vaginal health concerns.
  • Deliver pre and post-partum care.
  • Collaborate with translators and Spanish-speaking Medical Assistants to ensure effective communication with approximately 75% Spanish-speaking patients.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certification: Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
  • Experience with Epic and Nextgen EMR systems preferred.
