Locum Tenens CRNA - CA Needed in California

Our client in California is actively seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 111-day assignment starting Nov 9, 2023. This role involves providing comprehensive OR coverage within a 25-bed critical access hospital, focusing on daytime cases from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. The assignment offers optional night and weekend call duties, with a practice environment that supports independent work across a diverse range of general and regional anesthesia procedures for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive operating room coverage within a hospital-based practice.
• Perform general and regional anesthesia including Subarachnoid, Epidurals, and Peripheral nerve blocks for upper and lower extremities.
• Manage advanced airway techniques and placement of Peripheral IV/Arterial Lines and Central Venous Catheters.
• Independently manage cases for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations.
• Handle a variety of cases including Orthopedic total joint, knee and shoulder procedures, General surgery, Endoscopies, ENT, Peds, and Outpatient/ambulatory procedures.
• Participate in optional night and weekend call responsibilities.

• Call Schedule: Out of house call, optional night and weekend.
• Patients Per Day: 5 on average, up to 10 on busiest days.
• LOA: 111 Days
• Shift Hours: 7am to 3pm
• Staffing Mix: Working alongside 2 other Anesthetists.
