Locum Tenens CRNA - MI Needed in Michigan

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiology CRNA for a 90-day assignment in Michigan. Our client requires a dedicated anesthetist to work 32-40 hours per week, consisting of 8 or 10-hour shifts, with a mandatory presence on either Monday or Friday each week. The role primarily involves administering anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including general, neurosurgical, spinal, and local, for both adult and pediatric patients, while also focusing on continuous patient monitoring and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
• Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
• Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
• Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
• Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
• Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
• Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards
• Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed
