Locum Tenens CRNA - NE Needed in Nebraska

We are seeking a skilled CRNA specializing in Anesthesiology for a 120-day assignment in Nebraska. The schedule involves five 8-hour shifts, typically from 7a to 3p. This role focuses on providing anesthesia, carefully monitoring patients during surgical procedures, and ensuring patient well-being in Phase 1 or PACU until ready for discharge or transfer to the next care stage.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide anesthesia, monitor patient during surgery, stay with patient in Phase 1 or PACU until ready to move to next case.

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Anesthesiology
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• EMR: HST
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Call Schedule: No Call
• Patients per Day: 5-15 (depending on cases)
• LOA: 120 Days
• Staffing Mix: CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons (CRNAs practice independently but have the support of MDs if needed)
• Cases include: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Dental, Gynecology (hysteroscopy, laparoscopic hysterectomy, D&C’s, tubal ligations, Laparoscopic Oophorectomy/Salpingectomy), Eyes, and Hands. Preferred cases include Healthy Peds (ENT or Dental), Pain Management, and Nerve Blocks.
