Locum Tenens CRNA - NE Needed in Nebraska

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 62-day assignment in Nebraska, starting Aug 15, 2024. This role involves both weekday shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and weekend call, Friday 3 PM to Monday 7 AM, with rotation between first and second call. The Anesthetist will manage a diverse range of cases and perform various anesthesia procedures within a dynamic care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Administer general, local, and regional anesthesia including spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocks for upper and lower extremities.
• Perform peripheral IV and arterial line placements.
• Manage a wide range of cases including General Surgery, Ortho, OB/GYN, Vascular, ENT, GI/Endo, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Emergency, and limited Pediatrics.
• Participate in weekday shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Engage in weekend call, Friday 3 PM to Monday 7 AM, rotating between first and second call.

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Setting: Clinic and call setting
• Call Schedule: Out of house call, includes rotating 1st and 2nd call on weekends.
• Patient Volume: 2-3 patients per CRNA per day
• LOA: 62 Days
• Staffing Mix: 5 permanent CRNAs, working in a shared team with MDs and APPs
• Shift Hours: 8 or 16-hour shifts
