Locum Tenens CRNA - NY Needed in New York

Our client in New York is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 60-day assignment. The role involves a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, approximately 7:00 PM–8:00 AM, with additional weekend OB coverage during day and night shifts. Ideal candidates will work a 7 on 7 off rotation, with flexibility for 24-hour call on weekends. Responsibilities include managing a variety of cases such as Orthopedic spine, GYN, Urology, Endo, and OB, utilizing skills in Regional (spinal, Epidural), GA, and MAC.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide anesthesia for special procedures including Orthopedic spine, GYN, Urology, Endo, and OB cases
• Utilize regional anesthesia techniques (spinal, epidural), general anesthesia (GA), and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
• Manage a patient volume of 15-22 cases per day in the main OR and contribute to 200 OB deliveries per month
• Care for a patient population primarily consisting of ASA 2-3 patients, aged 20-40 years, with no pediatric cases

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• Setting: Inpatient
• Patients per day: 15-22 in main OR/day and 200 OB deliveries /month
• LOA: 60 Days
• Call Schedule: Onsite call available with call rooms for providers; open to 24-hour call on weekends
• Staffing Mix: Support staff available Monday–Friday 6:30 AM–8:00 PM
