Locum Tenens Physician - Anesthesiologist Needed in New York

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Anesthesiology for a 100-day assignment in New York. This role involves 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, three shifts per week, plus call, guaranteeing 36 hours weekly with potential for up to 48 hours including weekends and call. The ideal candidate will be open to working and splitting call, with night and weekend call schedules actively being finalized. Duties encompass a broad range of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, urology, GI/endoscopy, plastic/reconstructive surgery, ambulatory surgery, and emergency surgical cases, specifically excluding heads and hearts. The role involves pre-operative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia, and post-anesthesia management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide anesthesia for general surgery cases.
• Manage anesthesia for orthopedic procedures.
• Administer anesthesia for OB/GYN cases.
• Support ENT surgical procedures with anesthesia.
• Handle anesthesia for urology cases.
• Provide anesthesia for GI/endoscopy procedures.
• Administer anesthesia for plastic/reconstructive surgery.
• Manage anesthesia in ambulatory surgery settings.
• Provide anesthesia for emergency/urgent surgical cases.
• Perform pre-operative assessments.
• Conduct intraoperative anesthesia management.
• Oversee post-anesthesia patient management.
