Locum Tenens Physician - Anesthesiologist Needed in NY

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our client in New York for a 100-day assignment starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts with call, providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical cases, excluding head and heart procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide anesthesia for general surgery cases
• Manage anesthesia for orthopedic procedures
• Deliver anesthesia care for OB/GYN surgeries
• Administer anesthesia for ENT cases
• Support urology surgical procedures with anesthesia
• Provide anesthesia services for GI/endoscopy procedures
• Manage anesthesia for plastic/reconstructive surgery
• Cover ambulatory surgery cases
• Handle anesthesia for emergency/urgent surgical cases
• Conduct pre-op assessments, intraoperative anesthesia, and post-anesthesia management
