Locum Tenens Physician - Anesthesiologist Needed in NY

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 28-day assignment in New York. The schedule will involve Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with weekday call from 3 PM to 7 AM and weekend call from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM. This role encompasses inpatient cases, obstetrics, epidurals, general anesthesia, and surgical scheduling, potentially including CRNA supervision, within a rural, critical access setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient anesthesia services
• Manage obstetrical anesthesia cases, including epidurals
• Administer general anesthesia
• Schedule surgeries effectively
• Supervise CRNAs as needed
• Work comfortably within a rural, critical access environment

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient, rural, critical access
• Call Schedule: Weekday call from 3 PM to 7 AM; weekend call from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM
• Staffing Mix: May involve CRNA supervision
