Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiologist Needed in Illinois

We are seeking an experienced Cardiologist for a 130-day assignment in Illinois. This role involves a Monday through Friday, 40-hour work week, complemented by nightly in-house call from 7 PM to 7 AM. The successful Physician will be responsible for reading EKGs and echos, supervising stress testing, and managing general cardiology patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, and HF.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Read EKGs and echos.
• Supervise stress testing.
• Manage general cardiology patients, including those with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), hypertension (HTN), and heart failure (HF).

• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: Daily in-house call from 7 PM to 7 AM
• LOA: 130 Days
• Staffing Mix: 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for two days a week, Medical Assistant support, and solo Physician coverage.
