Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgeon Needed in MO

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon Physician for a 60-day assignment in Missouri, commencing Sep 14, 2026. This role requires 24-hour call coverage from 7am-7am each day at a Trauma Center. The physician will handle a broad spectrum of cardiothoracic surgery duties, including all routine and emergency CT cases, requiring proficiency in procedures such as CABG, TAVR, valve repair, and minimally invasive techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour CT Surgery call coverage at a Trauma Center.
• Manage all routine CT cases and emergencies.
• Perform procedures including CABG, TAVR, valve repair, ablation, minimally invasive techniques, and stents.
• Demonstrate comfort with open heart procedures.
• Experience with Vascular cases is highly preferred.
