Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgeon Needed in OK

Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an 8-day assignment in Oklahoma, commencing Dec 23, 2026. This role involves 24-hour out-of-house call shifts from 7a to 7a, focusing on a comprehensive range of cardiac and thoracic cases, including CABGs, valves, VATs, wedge resections, and complex aortic work.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage with rounding.
• Manage cardiac and thoracic cases.
• Perform procedures including CABGs, valves, VATs, wedge resections, lobectomies, pneumothorax, and drain insertions.
• Handle some aortic work.
• Respond to traumas as part of a trauma facility.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required.
• EMR: Cerner
• Call Schedule: 24-hour out-of-house call, 7a to 7a shifts.
