Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgeon Needed in PA

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an exciting 21-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jun 15, 2026. This role involves primarily on-call and surgical/inpatient coverage, with daily responsibilities including diverse surgical procedures, inpatient consults, and CVICU rounding on post-operative patients. Typical days begin around 7:00 AM and conclude by 5:00 PM, focusing on advanced cardiothoracic cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, ECMO, Single Chamber Pacers, and Thoracic surgery.
• Conduct inpatient consults.
• Manage CVICU rounding on post-operative patients.
• Provide primarily on-call and surgical/inpatient coverage.
• Round on consults and surgical cases.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Must have 2 years of case logs.
• Work will be within a Trauma environment.
