Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgeon Needed in PA

Job Description

Our client in Pennsylvania is actively seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 27-day assignment, commencing Sep 1, 2026. This role involves a dynamic schedule, typically requiring 9-12 shifts per month, with in-house hours for rounding, cases, and clinic duties. The Physician will manage a variety of cardiac surgical cases, including TAVRs, CABG, AVR, and MVR, while also providing essential call coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Rounding on inpatients, managing surgical cases, and conducting clinic duties.
• Perform a range of complex cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, AVR, and MVR.
• Focus on TAVR procedures and associated clinic duties on Wednesdays.
• Provide coverage for cardiac surgery cases and call, specifically when the primary surgeon is on vacation or requires weekends off.
• Support a Trauma facility.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery is required.
• Availability to respond to calls within 30 minutes.
