Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Nurse Practitioner for a 50-day assignment starting Aug 10, 2026, in Ohio. This role involves 12-hour night call or day rounding, with shifts from 7a-5p or 5pm-7am call. Responsibilities include managing routine cardiothoracic cases such as CABG, valves, complex aorta, lobectomy, and VATS, along with performing vein harvesting utilizing Maquet Hemopro 2.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Handle 12-hour night call or day rounding shifts.
• Perform shifts that include 7am-5pm rounding or 5pm-7am call.
• Manage routine cardiothoracic cases, including CABG, valves, complex aorta, lobectomy, and VATS; occasional ECMO cases.
• Conduct vein harvesting using Maquet Hemopro 2.
• Be within a 30-minute range of the hospital for call shifts if local, or stay in a nearby hotel if not.
• Handle calls, often remotely, with a low chance of being called into the facility.
