Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care Medicine Needed in Missouri

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for an 11-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri, beginning Nov 26, 2024. The role involves managing patients in both ICU and Stepdown units, covering 12-hour day and night shifts, with duties focused on pre/post-operative care and ECMO management within the CTICU.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patients
• Provide care for patients requiring ECMO
• Oversee floor and CTICU responsibilities
• See patients in CTICU/MICU settings
• Perform pre- and post-operative floor work

• Board Certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)

• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: No call required
• Patient Volume: Typically 8-12 patients per day across floor and ICU
• LOA: 11 days
• Staffing Mix: 3 Cardiothoracic APPs during weekdays, 1 during weekend; 1 attending surgeon always available
