Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Critical Care Medicine Needed in NY

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 6-day assignment in New York. The role involves covering sporadic dates with a mix of 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am shifts, providing comprehensive care in the ICU and IMCU settings and managing patient consults.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cover ICU and IMCU units.
• Manage 0-5 patient consults daily, typically 1-2.
• Collaborate with 1-2 residents rounding on average 8-10 patients in the unit all days except Sundays.

Additional Information

• EMR: Epic
• No call requirement; however, night and weekend coverage is needed, involving a mix of day and night shifts.
