Job Description

We are seeking a Critical Care Medicine Physician for a 10-day assignment starting Aug 6, 2026, in Missouri. This role involves 12-hour shifts managing a ICU and a CTU, with responsibilities including comprehensive ventilation management, performing various invasive and non-invasive procedures, and providing critical patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• ICU + CTU
• Ventilation Management
• Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy)
• Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
• Chest tube insertion
• Bronchoscopy
• W/bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL)
• Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
• Insertion of Central line
• Insertion of Arterial line
• Insertion of PA catheter
• Insertion of Intra-Aortic Balloon pump (IABP)
• Temporary placement
• ICP evaluation and management
• Dialysis catheter placement
• Diagnostic/therapeutic taps
• Lumbar puncture
• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
