Job Description

Our client in NY is seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 66-day assignment starting Aug 2, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts for ED coverage, including nights and days. The provider will be responsible for a mix of pediatric and adult patients, working collaboratively with a physician and another advanced practice provider to manage the daily patient census.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 12-hour emergency department coverage during night and day shifts.
  • Manage a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult cases.
  • Collaborate with a physician and another Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to manage daily patient census, typically split among the day and night shift team.
  • Work alongside APP colleagues during specific shifts (e.g., 9a to 9p and 2p to 2a).
