Job Description

Our client in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a 181-day assignment starting Nov 27, 2026. This role involves managing emergency medicine cases within a Emergency Department. Physicians will work 12 or 24-hour shifts, covering 7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am, or full 24-hour periods, providing comprehensive care to approximately 42 patient encounters per shift with the support of Anesthesia, Catheterization Lab, General Surgery, and Laboratory services.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
  • Manage an average of 42 patient encounters per shift.
  • Work effectively within aEmergency Department.

  • Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Setting: Emergency Department
  • Shift Schedule: 12 or 24-hour shifts (7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am, or 7:00am-7:00am, 7:00pm-7:00pm)
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 42 patient encounters per shift
