Our client in New Mexico is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day assignment. This dynamic role involves providing essential emergency medical care during 10-15 day or night shifts per month, with flexible scheduling options including 7a-7p or 7p-7a. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a diverse range of emergency cases within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care during assigned shifts.
Manage patient care across day shifts (7a-7p) or night shifts (7p-7a).
Commit to a schedule of 10-15 shifts per month.
Additional Information
Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
EMR: Epic
Work Setting: Clinic and Call
Call Schedule: No call required
Patient Volume: Approximately 2-4 patients per hour, with 26,000 annual visits
LOA: 60 Days
Staffing Mix: 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on day shifts, solo Physician on night shifts
