We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for an immediate 8-day assignment in New Mexico. This role involves critical access ER coverage, with shifts encompassing both day and night 12-hour schedules. The client requires a dedicated professional to manage a diverse range of emergency cases and ensure continuous patient care in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide critical access ER coverage
Perform procedures including endotracheal intubation, central/arterial line placement, paracentesis/thoracentesis, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, tube/needle/finger thoracotomy, chemical/electric cardioversion, and closed fracture reductions
Stabilize all traumas for transfer to an academic campus
Additional Information
Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
EMR: Evident

Patients per day volume: Facility sees approximately 15,000 annual visits
LOA: 8 Days
