Locum Tenens Physician - Emergency Medicine Needed in Washington

Our client in Washington is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a 15-day assignment, commencing Sep 9, 2024. This role involves providing high-quality emergency medical care, including the evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients, across varied day and night shifts. You will work collaboratively to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions and ensure effective patient handoffs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients.
• Work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions.
• Ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Additional Information

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine is required.
• The facility utilizes Epic EMR.
• Required certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• This is an Inpatient setting.
• No call is required for this position.
• Expect to see 8-14 patients per day, with 8-14 admissions per day.
• LOA: 15 Days
• Supported by RNs.
