Job Description

Our client in Alaska is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 53-day assignment starting Aug 13, 2026. This role involves assessing patients in a fast-paced environment, depending on the season, with shifts from 8am-4:30pm including weekend and weeknight on-call coverage. You will manage a variety of standard family medicine cases, including acute and chronic care, within a village clinic setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assess patients and provide comprehensive care in a dynamic setting.
• Handle standard family medicine cases.
• Manage acute and chronic care cases, such as colds, coughs, flu, diabetes, hypertension, and substance abuse.
• Provide a wide variety of care as the sole clinic in the village, referring serious cases as needed.
