Job Description

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Aug 10, 2026. This role involves providing essential care from 7:30am - 4pm, focusing on sick calls, chronic and preventative care procedures, and trauma triage, ensuring comprehensive patient support within a dynamic healthcare environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Sick Call and rounding
  • Running chronic and preventative care procedures and follow ups
  • Preventative care clinics
  • May be called upon for infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
  • Trauma triage
  • Charting notes
  • Med refills
  • PA/NP lines in morning (suture removal, follow ups, etc)
  • Med non-compliance with patients


Additional Information

  • Cases include bread and butter primary care, chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia, and preventative care including annual physical exams.
  • Manage common sick call presentations including runny nose, headaches, and back pain.
  • Ability to perform sutures and splinting is a plus.
  • Required to complete physicals within 14 days of patient intake.
  • Required to complete pap smears.
  • Male providers will be accompanied by a female nurse at all times during relevant procedures.
