Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice Needed in New Jersey

Our client in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 25-day assignment. This role involves weekdays with varying hours and scheduled lunch breaks, including occasional Saturday coverage, focusing on general primary care for chronic and acute cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide general primary care for chronic and acute cases
• Perform basic wound care
• Conduct ear wax removal
• Perform skin biopsies and skin cyst removal
• Apply and remove stitches and sutures/staples
• Administer joint, tendon, and trigger point injections
• Perform skin tag removal
• Execute incision and drainage of abscesses
• Conduct Pap smears
• Perform endometrial biopsies
• Manage IUD and Nexplanon removals

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
• Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• EMR: Athenahealth
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: 10-12
• LOA: 25 Days
