Job Description

Our client in Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care during standard day shifts from 7:30am to 4pm, managing sick calls, conducting preventative care clinics, and overseeing chronic care procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to patient well-being through direct care and support.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage sick call and conduct rounding
  • Run chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups
  • Oversee preventative care clinics
  • Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases (24 beds)
  • Handle trauma triage
  • Chart notes
  • Process medication refills
  • Address PA/NP lines in the morning (suture removal, follow-ups, etc.)
  • Manage medication non-compliance with patients
  • See bread and butter primary care cases
  • Handle infirmary cases
  • Manage chronic care cases (asthma, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, etc.)
  • Conduct preventative care cases (annual physical exams for those over 50 yearly, under 50 every 3 years)
  • Manage sick call cases (runny nose, headaches, back pain, etc.)
  • Perform sutures and splinting (a plus, not required)
  • Care for a singular transgender patient in the patient population
