Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our client's team in Pennsylvania, starting Sep 7, 2026. This 60-day assignment involves daily shifts from 7:30am to 4pm, providing comprehensive care including infirmary rounds, sick calls, physical examinations, and managing various general medical cases. The role also includes supporting patients on MAT programs and monitoring transgender patients.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct daily infirmary rounds in the morning.
  • Perform restricted housing unit rounds.
  • Manage sick calls.
  • Handle physicals, consults, emergency consults, and admissions consults.
  • Engage in charting, EMR queue reviewal, and lab and x-ray reviewal.
  • Provide infirmary care, including IV treatments, oxygen monitoring, and general medical cases.
  • Perform sutures and splints.
  • Treat common conditions such as colds, coughs, flu, bronchitis, and pain.
  • Conduct MAT program follow-ups every three months for patients on Vivitrol and Revia, addressing dual diagnosis for addiction.
  • Monitor transgender patients, including bloodwork and medication management.
  • Provide chronic care management, with clinics every six months and referrals for extreme cases.
