Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Family Practice Needed in PA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment with our client in Pennsylvania, starting Aug 3, 2026. The role involves typical shift hours from 7:30am to 4pm, where you will manage sick calls, conduct rounds, and oversee a variety of chronic and preventative care procedures, ensuring comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sick Call and rounding
• Running chronic and preventative care procedures and follow ups
• Preventative care clinics
• May be called upon for infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases (24 beds)
• Trauma triage
• Charting notes
• Med refills
• PA/NP lines in morning (suture removal, follow ups, etc)
• Med non-compliance with patients

Additional Information

• The caseload will primarily involve bread and butter primary care, infirmary cases, and a wide range of chronic and preventative care, including annual physical exams and sick calls.
• Proficiency in sutures and splinting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• The patient population includes a singular transgender patient.
• Typical shift hours are 7:30am - 4pm.
