Job Description

Our client in California seeks a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 60-day assignment starting Jun 29, 2026. This role involves providing primary care from 8:30a-5p, focusing on FQHC basics and rural health aspects, managing high patient volumes with multiple complaints per visit, and addressing conditions like cold, cough, and flu for patients aged 18 and older, including a significant population of Spanish-speaking and Medical/cade patients.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health complexities.
  • Manage a high volume of patients, seeing 22 or more patients per day within 15-minute appointment slots.
  • Assess and treat patients presenting with multiple complaints during each visit.
  • Address common primary care conditions such as colds, coughs, and flu.
  • Care for patients aged 18 and older, including a substantial population of Spanish-speaking and Medical/cade patients.


Additional Information

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine.
  • EMR system is Epic.
  • Experience with FQHC basics is essential.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of Spanish-speaking patients.
