Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 60-day assignment in California. Our client needs a physician to cover flexible 8-hour shifts between 8 AM and 5 PM, focusing on a mix of primary care visits. This role involves managing a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of healthcare needs from physicals and preventative care to chronic disease management, urgent care, and specialized women's and men's health services.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct primary care visits for a diverse patient population
  • Provide preventative health services and annual physicals
  • Manage chronic diseases and offer urgent care services
  • Deliver women's health and men's health services
  • Perform well-baby care and geriatric care
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and basic lab services, including blood draws
  • Offer hearing and vision screening
  • Administer immunizations and COVID-19 testing and vaccinations


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Average Patient Volume: 14-18 patients per day
