Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in Florida

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an engaging 16-day locum tenens assignment in FL. Our client is looking for a professional to work Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including paid administrative time. In this role, you will provide comprehensive family practice and occupational medicine services to government employees, encompassing pre-employment physicals, chronic and acute care, and medication management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide bread and butter family practice care
• Conduct pre-employment physicals for police, fire, and civilian government employees
• Manage chronic care conditions
• Perform medication management
• Handle acute care walk-in visits
• Dispense medications on-site as needed
• Manage patients requiring GLP1s and ADHD care

• Patients per day: Typical volume of 12-15 physicals per day (60 minutes each), maximum of 18; accommodates 2 same-day appointments

• Staffing Mix: Solo physician role supported by a part-time Nurse Practitioner (Tuesday-Friday), three per diem Nurse Practitioners for vacation coverage, and three full-time Medical Assistants
