Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for our client in Maine, starting Aug 3, 2026, for a 120-day assignment. This role involves covering the outpatient clinic from 8am to 5pm, focusing on timely charting, and collaborating effectively with support staff. The physician will also be responsible for supervising and teaching Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students, providing comprehensive care across a broad age range, including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and adults.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cover the outpatient clinic daily from 8am to 5pm.
  • Ensure timely and accurate charting of patient encounters.
  • Collaborate effectively with support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Supervise and teach Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students.
  • Provide comprehensive care for adult outpatients.
  • Manage care for newborns (birth–30 days), infants (30 days–1 year), toddlers (1–2 years), children (3–13 years), and adolescents (13–18 years).
  • Offer Well Woman Care services.
  • Perform general outpatient procedures.
  • Address common musculoskeletal problems, including trigger point/joint injections and splinting.
  • Perform Incision and Drainage (I&D) procedures.
